The moderated warm temperatures coupled with very weak volcanic soils result in struggling vines that yield minuscule quantities of Cabernet Sauvignon that translate into a wine of unparalleled structure, intensity and complexity. This is a wine that is built for cellaring while still having the drink now potential as it shows expressions of concentrated dark fruit, warm oak notes, and forest floor. The palette is full bodied, inky, full flavored and complex and continues the dark fruit and earth notes found on the aroma.
